Emergency
School Closing - Occasionally, severe weather or unusual circumstances
cause the cancellation or delayed opening of school. Commercial Township
school closings are announced beginning at 6:00 AM on radio stations:

If
Commercial Township Schools must dismiss students at 1:30 PM or sooner
due to an emergency, your child should know where he/she should go.
Parents are requested to provide supervision for their children if they
will not be home when students arrive. Working parents must arrange
supervision of their children should an early closing become necessary.
Afternoon preschool classes will be notified by telephone and an emergency
telephone chain for kindergarten students will be in effect.
